Nowruz is the Persian New Year festival that celebrates the arrival of spring and the renewal of life. It is observed on around March 21, the day of the spring equinox, by millions of people of diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds in many countries now it’s our pleasure to introduce Mashhad which is the second most populous city in Iran and the capital of Razavi Khorasan province in the northeast of the country. This province has a rich and diverse cultural heritage, Mashhad is centered on the vast Holy Shrine of Imam Reza. Its art forms include pottery, turquoise stone, silk weaving, and Barak Bafi, a type of woolen fabric.
